Our Story
Founded in 1969, Capital Paint & Supply has proudly served the automotive paint and supply needs of Southeast Louisiana for over five decades. What began as a single family-owned store in Baton Rouge has grown into three convenient locations—Baton Rouge, Hammond, and Gonzales—while keeping our strong community roots.
Our first landmark store on North Street faithfully served Baton Rouge until 1997, when we moved to our current location on Tom Drive. In 1999, our second location opened in Hammond, followed by our third location in 2014 in Gonzales. In 2008, the Capital Paint entered a new chapter when ownership changed hands. Throughout these changes, one thing has never wavered: our commitment to providing quality products with personal, dependable service.
Today, under the ownership of Robert Marler and Luke Meche, Capital Paint & Supply continues to carry forward the same values that started it all. The faces in our stores may have changed, but our mission remains the same: to do more than just sell products—we’re here to build lasting relationships and help our customers succeed.
